Celebrating the end of cancer treatments?
happy asked:
My friend just finished her last treatement and I want to do something special for her to celebrate the end of it. Any ideas of gifts or other special things that I can do for her? Thank you
Thank you guy for all your answers. They are great! I want to mention that I took her out to dinner every month during her chimo and radiations; I want something that remindes her of how beautiful life. She never accepted that she has cancer and I don’t want to reminder her of cancer. What kind of gift should I buyt? Thank you again for all your support and I admire you for being so strong to beat cancer.

For my friend, just a nice meal out was what she wanted. She worked through the entire process and just wanted to get back to normal.
Give her a big hug and tell her how glad you are that she survivied. Then take her out for dinner. While you’re out, get your pictures taken togther. Get two copies made and framed, one for her, one for you.
Great Idea, when I finished chemo/radiation.
My friends took me out to a really good dinner. It had been many weeks since I had eaten what I wanted.
AND CELEBRATE! For a person to complete treatment is a very tough job. She did a Great Job!
Yeah, dinner!
I couldn’t eat a whole host of foods during my chemotherapy, find out if she has any food allergies and the pig out!
I also had a friend get me an AWESOME teeshirt.
In small regular font, on the front he had
“I survived ,
and all I got was this crappy tee-shirt”.
