Why aren’t there better cancer treatments?

cancer treatments
gem asked:

Leukemia took my mom away from us 3 months ago. She had survived breast cancer twice. She had radiation the first time when she had breast cancer, which could have caused the leukemia.

Is it just me, or does it seem like there should be better treatments by now, other than radiation and poision? I’m very suspiscious.

There are better treatments. They just are not available to the public or covered by insurances. How would they make money unless everyone is sick?

Edited to add: Sorry about your mother.

I’m pretty sure there is a cure for cancer, where does all that money for research go?think about this,if everyone was cured of cancer, imagine the hospitals and doctors and drug companies that would be put out of business,oh you cant have that now can you?its also one of the reasons herbal remedies will never be approved for diseases, which herbal remedies might cure but no one wants to research it because pharmaceutical companies are getting too rich from people with cancer.chemo works for a short while but cancer can return and you need DRUGS to deal with side effects of chemo……..makes perfect sense to me

I work in cancer research. I go to work every day trying to come up with better treatments for cancer.

There is a lot of promise for things other than chemo and radiation. Right now, we are spending a lot of time looking to the genetics of cancer - hopefully providing new treatments and, ideally, earlier detection and prevention.

I do a lot of work with immunotherapy - using the patient’s own immune system, or even immune cells donated by a family member, to fight the cancer. There’s a lot of promise with this approach as well.

We lost my mother-in-law to cancer nearly 3 years ago…I know how awful it is, and I know how hard it is on a family.

I hope this information helps, and I hope that I can do some good for others through my work.

Also - to address what the others have said - shame on them. There’s no conspiracy in cancer research. Research is VERY expensive, and it takes time. I work SO hard every day trying to make a difference, and I really resent those who think that the medical industry is trying to make money off of people’s suffering.

Considering my family’s history, do you really think that I’d work for something that was benefiting from my family’s loss?

If you want real answers read the book: Natural Cures They Don’t Want you to know about. author is: Kevin Trudeau Once you see that there is alternative medicine available don’t give up. This path will lead you to some amazing answers.

The better treatments won’t be disclosed to you through conventional medicine, and unfortunately alternative treatments are often hard to disentangle from advertising hype. The best way to find out more is to use resources like (through the Library of Congress, a free site with over 15 million biomedical citations), and look into the clinical evidence behind therapies like “tumeric,” “red raspberry,” “graviola,” “grape seed extract,” and many others. I would also search reliable resources like “VITASEARCH,” which published clinical information on Vitamins, Herbs and Supplements, and Dr. Mercola’s website:. If you look you will find quite a bit of encouraging resource that the mass media, and doctors generally suppress, or even discredit.

Unfortunately, chemo and radiation and, depending on the cancer, some other medications, are the only proven treatments for cancer. Yes, the treatment itself can lead to other health issues (new cancers, heart disease, etc.) Sometimes medical treatment can only buy time, sometimes it provides a cure, but w/following medical/mental/emotional issues. For now, it’s the best medicine has to offer. The rest is hogwash, pure & simple, but a drowning man will reach out for any hope. Take care of yourself.

Please pass this on. 54 forms of cancer have been reversed
with glyconutrients. they are safe and natural and are in breast
milk. we need them for optimal health.
